The Vibe Fest is at The ArtHouse this Saturday, October 24, from 12 PM to 4 PM. It's a ten-year birthday party for Sacred Vibes Healing, the sound-healing practice run by Lacey, and the afternoon is built around that. The floor will have aura photography, local artists, crystals, tarot, and flash tattoos, so it's a bit of a fair as much as a celebration.
Sacred Vibes Healing is Lacey's sound-healing practice, and she describes her approach as storytelling. She works with Crystal Tones Alchemy singing bowls made of pure quartz, gold, and other precious metals, and pairs them with a Cosmic Plate Gong, a Shruti Box, and various chimes. It's a combination she says activates the body's 'rest and digest' parasympathetic nervous system—the part that helps you wind down and recover.
Beyond the festival, she keeps a regular schedule of public Sound Journeys once or twice a month for fifteen to thirty people, and she also does private sessions, retreats, and corporate wellness offerings. If you're into sound work, that's the side of her practice that continues after the party is over.
