Beginner-friendly hands-on cookie decorating class led by Chef Taylor at Copperwing Distillery, for over-21s only.
The Art of Cookie Decorating: Summer Edition is happening at Copperwing Distillery on Saturday, October 31. It's a hands-on class led by Chef Taylor, who takes you through piping and icing techniques to turn pre-baked sugar cookies into polished, summer-inspired treats. The session covers the basics—clean lines, rosettes, borders, simple lettering, and a handful of design tricks—so you walk away with a decorated box of cookies and the skills to recreate the looks at home. It's built for beginners, so you don't need any prior experience to get into it.
The setting is part of the draw. Copperwing Distillery opened in 2014 in St. Louis Park, just outside Minneapolis, and it's a modern, industrial-style space that reflects its craft spirit roots, combining functional design with a warm atmosphere. The class is for over-21s only, and you can buy drinks at the venue while you work.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Minneapolis and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
