A night of live music celebrating the hits of the 1990s, featuring Monique Blakey, Endia Tierra and Brionna Wright, hosted by Drunken Monkey.
The 90's Rewind comes to Icehouse on Saturday, November 7, a night of live music celebrating the hits of the 1990s. Hosted by Drunken Monkey, the show brings together R&B, pop, hip hop, rock, country, alternative, neo-soul, and jazz under one roof. It's a wide net to cast, but that's the point: the 90s were a decade where all those sounds lived side by side, and the setlist pulls from across the board.
Three vocalists share the bill. Monique Blakey is a Minnesota-based singer who's sung the national anthem for every one of the state's professional sports teams. Endia Tierra is a vocalist and model who draws on her dance background for her performances. And Brionna Wright is a St. Paul singer who's one half of the Twin Cities project No Limit Love. Together they'll work through the decade's hits, with the night moving from one style to the next.
It's a 21+ show, and Icehouse has a full food and beverage menu available throughout the night, so you can eat and drink while the music goes. Doors open at 6:30 PM, a DJ starts at 7 PM, and the show kicks off at 8 PM.
