One-night indie rock festival hosted by Sleeping Jesus with seven bands and a DJ across three stages, plus a taco truck, at The Hook & Ladder.
Sleeping Jesus is hosting Sleepy Weekend at The Hook and Ladder Event Center on Saturday, November 7, a one-night festival that brings together artists from across Minnesota. The night is spread across three stages with seven bands and a DJ, and there's a taco truck on site. The lineup runs through indie rock, folk, hip-hop, funk and bluegrass, so it's a wide spread of sounds under one roof rather than a single genre.
Sleeping Jesus, based in Winona, is the host and one of the performing acts. They've spent more than a decade playing hook-filled indie rock rooted in Americana, folk and classic rock. The rest of the bill includes Harlow, anni xo, Hiahli, Simon Cropp & his All-Star Band, Molly Brandt, Kiernan, and the Sugar Lads, with DJ Sumthyn Sumthyn keeping things moving between sets. This edition is sponsored by Indeed Brewing and is for ages 21 and over.
