Scottish traditional music band Skerryvore play The Parkway Theater on their Beautiful Mistakes album tour.
Skerryvore play The Parkway Theater on Wednesday, January 27, 2027. They're coming from Scotland on tour with their eighth album, Beautiful Mistakes, which came out November 6, 2026.
If you've never heard of them, they're one of Scotland's most popular bands and a leading name in contemporary Scottish traditional music. They've won Scotland's 'Live Act of the Year' award four times. The sound is a mix of bagpipes, fiddles, accordions and whistles alongside guitar, vocals, driving bass, drums and keys, blending folk, traditional, pop and rock. It's a full band on stage, not just a folk ensemble, so the set has as much in common with a rock show as it does with a traditional session.
This tour follows their 2023 album Tempus, which saw three singles land on BBC Radio 2's new music playlist and took number one on both the Official Scottish Album and the UK Folk Albums charts. They've taken that record on the road across the UK, Europe and the US, and Beautiful Mistakes is the next chapter. The show is built around the new material, so you'll be hearing the latest songs live.
