Concert by singer-songwriter Shawn James with special guest Evan Bartels, on his 'Flew Too Close to the Sun Tour', at The Fine Line.
Shawn James plays Fine Line on Sunday, October 25, as part of his Flew Too Close to the Sun Tour. He's an American vocalist and singer-songwriter who has built his following performing both solo and with his backing band, The Shapeshifters. He's also a writer who has resisted being summed up in hour-long conversations.
His discography stretches back over a decade, from Shadows in 2012 and Deliverance in 2014 to On the Shoulders of Giants in 2016, Gaslight Sessions in 2017, The Madrid Sessions in 2018, Live at the Heartbreak House in 2018, A Place In The Unknown in 2022, and his most recent, Passage, released this year. The tour is built around that latest record, so you'll hear the new material alongside the older songs he's been playing for years.
He's joined by special guest Evan Bartels, who hails from Tobias, a Nebraskan prairie town of about 100 people. The show is for ages 18 and up.
