Nashville singer-songwriter Scott Laurent plays Icehouse Minneapolis with a full band and special guest Dan Murphy to celebrate his album 'Somewhere Along The Line'.
Scott Laurent is back at Icehouse on Saturday, November 28, to celebrate the release of his sixth studio album, Somewhere Along The Line. Laurent is a Nashville singer-songwriter and a Minnesota native, and this record brings him back to the city where he started. It was recorded right here in Minneapolis and co-produced by Isaac Levy, Scott Laurent, and Noah Levy, and every musician on the album is from Minnesota.
Laurent has spent much of his career working behind the scenes in Nashville, writing with and for some of country music's biggest names and earning cuts across several genres. He's worked with multiple Grammy Award winners and has become a go-to collaborator for emerging talent in the city. His songs have appeared in numerous TV shows and films, and he's toured across the U.S. and Europe. Somewhere Along The Line is his sixth studio album, and this show is the record release.
He won't be playing solo. He's bringing a full band for the night: Dave Mehling, Noah Levy, Isaac Levy, Trent Norton, and Janey Winterbauer. Special guest Dan Murphy opens the bill. With a full band behind him, the set will build out the songs from the new record in a way a solo performance wouldn't.
