R&B and soul show by Paul Cebar and his band Tomorrow Sound at The Hook and Ladder, for ages 21+.
Paul Cebar & Tomorrow Sound play The Hook and Ladder on Friday, November 6. Cebar is a singer and guitarist whose career has run through several eras and pulled from global influences, and he's performing here with his current band, Tomorrow Sound.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, you might recognize the projects he's led before: the R&B Cadets, Paul Cebar & The Milwaukeeans, and this one, Paul Cebar & Tomorrow Sound. He's earned a reputation among his peers along the wayāJoe Ely called him "an American original," and he's been praised by Bonnie Raitt and Nick Lowe. The new solo album he's touring is described as his most eclectic to date, drawing on New Orleans and reggae rhythms alongside a lifelong love of soul and R&B.
The show is in the Theater (Zen Arcade) at The Hook and Ladder in Minneapolis. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the music starts at 7:30 PM. It's a 21+ show, and tickets are non-refundable.
