Intimate night of new songs and new sounds with solo sets from guitarists Mike Baggetta and Eli Winter on the Double Solos Tour.
Mike Baggetta and Eli Winter bring their Double Solos Tour to Icehouse on Wednesday, November 18, 2026. It's a straightforward bill: each guitarist plays his own solo set, and they're joined by special guests. They describe the night as an intimate one, built around new songs and new sounds.
Baggetta is a guitarist and singer from Gainesville, Florida, who leads the post-genre power trio mssv with drummer Stephen Hodges and bassist Mike Watt. He's released original music on the BIG EGO label and has played with Nels Cline, David Torn, J Mascis, Petra Haden, Viktor Krauss and Jeff Coffin. He endorses Benson Amps, D'Addario and Reunion Blues Cases.
Winter is a Chicago-based guitarist and writer who brings his native Texas into his playing, mixing it with jazzy, explosive bombast and drawing on pedal steel and fuzz. The two come from different places and different styles, and the format lets you hear them separately rather than as a single band.
