Monthly night of drum and bass and jungle headlined by Monty, with support from Dewey, Jen Symmetry and Northern Barrier.
Monty headlines Eat Street Crossing on Saturday, October 17, as part of Mechanix, which bills itself as "MN's Monthly Dose of Drum and Bass, Jungle, and Other Sounds from the Underground." The night is built around Monty, a Toulouse-based producer and DJ known for fast-paced drum & bass, halftime, and dubstep. He's released on labels like Critical Music, Invisible, and Flexout Audio, and represents 1985 Music, the imprint curated by Alix Perez. His 2017 Hold Me Back EP led to his 2021 debut album Hit The Lights, which he describes as a celebration of tempo diversity. His sets are diverse, progressive, and high-energy, with past highlights at Let It Roll, Outlook Festival, and Canada's Shambhala Festival; he tours widely across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and North America.
Monty doesn't come alone. He's supported by Dewey, coming in from Kansas City, along with Jen Symmetry and Northern Barrier. With four DJs on the bill, the night should cover a good stretch of the drum and bass and jungle spectrum. Sound is provided by SubLab, and the whole thing is strictly 21+.
