Minnesota music legend Martin Zellar returns to the Twin Cities with his band The Hardways and special guest Ali Gray at The Parkway Theater.
Martin Zellar & The Hardways play The Parkway Theater on Saturday, October 17, with special guest Ali Gray. It's a homecoming for Zellar, a Minnesota-born musician whose work pulls from a wide range of styles: Springsteen-influenced pop rock, hard-core country, hard-driving rave-ups, bluegrass, and R&B. He's returning to the Twin Cities to play with his band, The Hardways, and he's bringing Gray along for the night.
Ali Gray is an acclaimed local singer-songwriter and a long-time Zellar collaborator, so she's more than just a name on the bill—she's a familiar face in his circle. The two have worked together for years, and this show puts them on the same stage. Between Zellar's band and Gray's set, you'll get two different takes on the singer-songwriter tradition in one evening.
