Stand-up comedy show with New York comedian Lucas Zelnick at Pantages Theatre.
Lucas Zelnick is bringing his stand-up to the Pantages Theatre on Friday, October 23, at 7:30 PM. He's a New York City comedian through and through—born, raised, and still based there—and he's built his act by leaning into the contrast between his cushy upbringing and his punch-heavy material.
If you haven't come across him yet, he's worked his way through the usual comedy rungs. He's been featured on Comedy Central, headlined the Netflix is a Joke Festival, and appeared in the feature films Regulars and Fade to Black. On tour, he's sold more than 50,000 tickets, and his social media numbers are the kind of scale that's hard to wrap your head around: 1 million followers and 500 million views across his platforms.
There's also a bit of a curveball in his background that doesn't usually show up in a comedy bio: he holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. It's an odd pairing—the business degree and the stand-up stage—and it fits right in with the way he talks about the gap between where he came from and the material he writes.
