Ira Ford Comedy Special 'Live Recording'

Ira Ford is recording his comedy special at The Hook & Ladder on Thursday, November 12, and it's a one-night-only thing. If you've seen him around the local scene, this is the night he puts the set on tape. The cameras will be rolling throughout, and the audience is part of the recording, so you're not just watching a show—you're in the room when it gets captured.

Ford takes the headlining slot, with Jay the Comedian hosting the night. Jon Stannard is also on the bill, and there's a special guest to be named. It's a full lineup, not just a single set, so you'll get a few different voices before Ford takes over for the recording.

The show is at The Hook & Ladder Event Center, 3010 Minnehaha Ave, and it's strictly 21 and over. Doors open at 7 PM, and the show starts at 8 PM. They're encouraging people to get there early for some patio time before the doors open, which is a good call if you want to hang out and have a drink before things kick off inside.

Tickets are $27 in advance at the box office and $30 in advance online, with $30 at the door. Those prices include sales tax, the ticketing fee, the facility fee, and credit card processing, so what you see is what you pay. Doors open at 7 PM, show starts at 8 PM.
