Indie rock project Hovvdy performs at the Fine Line in Minneapolis, with special guest Christian Lee Hutson of Paradise Pop.
Hovvdy play Fine Line on Thursday, November 12, with Christian Lee Hutson opening. The show is in the Warehouse District, on the main level of the Consortium Building, just a few blocks from First Avenue.
If you've followed them for a while, you know the project has occupied a distinct corner of the indie landscape for more than a decade. It's fronted by Will Taylor and Charlie Martin, and it started as understated slowcore in Austin, Texas. From those bedroom-pop origins, it's grown into something that has outgrown its beginnings without losing its intimacy.
Christian Lee Hutson, of Paradise Pop, is the special guest for the night. He'll open before Hovvdy takes the stage.
