Live music night featuring Grand Lilac, Fumbler, and The Envies at the 331 Club.
Grand Lilac headlines the 331 Club on Saturday, October 24, with Fumbler and The Envies opening. It's a late-night bill, with the music starting at 10 PM, so you've got plenty of room to make a night of it before the first set kicks off.
If you're already familiar with the 331, you know it's one of those Minneapolis rooms that keeps a steady rotation of regulars. The Roe Family Singers hold down Mondays; Womenfolk Radio Concerts take the third Monday of the month; Lenz & Frenz are the last Wednesday. Then there's Cross Pollination on the third Thursday, a monthly gathering of songwriters from different genres that the club describes as "sort of like the Large Hadron Collider of genre mixers." Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School comes in on the second Sunday, and there's a Movie and Music Trivia night in the mix too. This Saturday night show sits alongside that calendar, a standalone bill on a weekend.

Grand Lilac takes the top spot, with Fumbler and The Envies filling out the rest of the lineup. The music starts at 10 PM, so it's a late oneβthe kind of show you might want to pair with dinner and drinks beforehand. If you're looking for something to do earlier in the evening, the club has Drinkin' Spelling Bee starting at 7 PM, which runs right up until the music takes over.
