21+ live music night at Dusty's Bar with sets from Friend Dog, The Midnight Current and Can Damage.
Friend Dog headlines a three-band bill at Dusty's Bar NordEast on Saturday, October 24, with The Midnight Current and Can Damage filling out the rest of the night. It's a full run of live music starting in the evening and stretching well past midnight, so you can settle in for the whole thing rather than catching just one set.
Friend Dog takes the stage first at 8 PM, followed by The Midnight Current at 9 PM and Can Damage at 10 PM. That puts the main feature right at the start of the night, with two more bands to follow. The Midnight Current is a Minneapolis trio that formed in 2024, led by frontman Andy Caron with Cody Bryan on bass and Andrew Teunis on drums. Their sound blends psychedelic rock with blues grit and a folk sensibility, and they're known for improvisation and raw interplay—they treat structure as a starting point rather than a boundary. Their debut album is Swell Sounds.

With three bands on the bill, the music runs from 8 PM through midnight. Doors open at 7 PM, so there's an hour to get in and grab a drink before the first set starts. The whole night is 21+, and admission is $10.
