Tribute band ELnO, with all members portraying Jeff Lynne, plays two sets of ELO classics for Halloween at The Parkway Theater.
ELnO plays The Parkway Theater on Friday, October 23, as part of their Rock Me Tonite Halloween show. The night is open to all ages, and costumes are encouraged for the Halloween theme.
If you're not familiar with the name, ELnO is a tribute band where every member portrays Jeff Lynne, the musical mastermind behind the Electric Light Orchestra. It's a local thing that's been around for a while—more than 20 years ago, six Twin Cities guys started paying homage to Lynne and ELO, and they've built their following around that. The whole band dressing as the same man is the hook, and the set follows a specific format: two sets of ELO classics, with DJ TimeMachine on the decks.
The show is at The Parkway Theater, 4817 Chicago Avenue South in Minneapolis. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7:30 PM. Since it's a Halloween-themed night, you're welcome to come in costume, and it's an all-ages event, so it works if you're bringing the kids along.
