A dance party for women, trans and non-binary folks featuring 90s and 2000s pop, hip-hop, new wave and R&B.
Earlybirds Club is taking over the Mainroom at First Avenue on Saturday, December 12, for a dance party that puts the 1990s up against the 2000s in back-to-back dance-floor anthems. The music spans pop, hip-hop, new wave, and R&B, so the two decades will be trading off throughout the night.
If you haven't come across them before, Earlybirds Club is a dance party built for women, trans, and non-binary folks. The whole thing runs on the idea of partying early and still getting home in time to crash like responsible adults, rather than staying out until the sun comes up. They frame it as more than just a night out: a judgment-free, supportive space where kindness, good vibes, and sensible footwear rule. Resident DJs give a taste of local talent, and the 21+ age limit keeps the room focused on the dance floor.
There's also a charitable side to the night. Ten percent of ticket proceeds go to the Susie Lee Legacy Fund, which backs nonprofits that uplift women, gender-expansive people, and communities in need. So, along with the music, a portion of what you spend goes toward that work.
