Annual 'Drinksgiving' tribute to Electric Light Orchestra with ELnO headlining and DJ TimeMachine, for ages 21 and over.
ELnO and DJ TimeMachine are playing The Hook and Ladder on Wednesday, November 25, under the title Drinksgiving. It's a tribute night dedicated to the Electric Light Orchestra, and the timing is part of the point: it falls the night before Thanksgiving, which the organizers describe as a beloved annual tradition to give thanks for a Jeff Lynne bounty and fill up on ELO hits. ELnO headlines the bill, and DJ TimeMachine is on the other half. The night also invites fans to join the ELnO Appreciation Society.
If you're not familiar with the name, ELnO is an Electric Light Orchestra tribute, so the set is built around the songs and sound of the band Jeff Lynne led. The whole thing is framed as a pre-holiday gathering—Drinksgiving—so it's as much about the occasion as the music. The show is for ages 21 and over only, so keep that in mind if you're planning on bringing a younger crowd.
