21+ festival celebrating queer and kink culture with a market of artists and live music.
Claws Out takes over the theater room at The Hook and Ladder on Friday, October 23, for a one-night festival that brings together a queer art market and a live music showcase. It's a 21+ event, and the whole night is built around queer art and its intersection with the kink community. The organizers describe it as a celebration of queer identity, eroticism, art, and self-expression, pairing a market of passionate artists with a lineup of performing musicians in a welcoming environment.
On the art side, you'll find a market of queer and kink artists selling their work throughout the night. On the stage, the music is handled by Friends Without Faces, Critterthing, Gojii, RabidFoxArts, Leafhoof, and Briar Lupine. Between the two, the evening works as a miniature festival: you can spend as much time browsing the tables as you do listening to the sets, and the whole thing stays under one roof.
