Black AF! Queer Prom

Black AF! Queer Prom takes over The Hook and Ladder on Friday, October 30, 2026, in the Zen Arcade room. It's a queer prom night for ages 21 and over, and the organizers are billing it as "prom round two" for anyone ready to show up fully as themselves.

The night leans into the camp and the costume, and you're encouraged to rock your favorite decade. That could mean turning up as a 1920s flapper, bringing B-Boy vibes in Adidas, or mixing eras entirely. The whole thing is hosted by Loveintune, with Sappho's Social Club listed as the organizer and promoter.

Doors open at 7 PM and the show starts at 8 PM. Tickets are $33 for Early Bird, though that's limited to 50. After that, general admission is $41, and advance tickets from the box office are $45. Advance tickets bought online are $52, and the door price is $52 as well. All those prices include sales tax, the ticketing fee, the facility fee, and credit card processing, and there are no refunds. It's a 21+ event, so keep your ID handy.
