Stand-up show by Estonian comedian Ari Matti, who blends observational humour with stories from his Eastern European upbringing.
Ari Matti is coming to the Pantages Theatre on Friday, November 6, for a stand-up comedy show. He's an Estonian-born comedian known for a bold, high-energy style that mixes sharp observational humor with a certain effortless charm. The Minneapolis date is presented by Outback Presents.
Much of his material comes from his Eastern European roots and his years living and traveling abroad. He's been entertaining audiences worldwide for more than a dozen years, and a good part of that is built around stories about growing up in the former Eastern Bloc. If you've never heard of him, that's the angle he works fromβthe perspective of someone who grew up in a very different part of the world and spent the years since moving around and seeing how it compares.
He's made a name for himself back home, too. In 2021, he toured Estonia and sold over 20,000 tickets, which is a huge number for a comedy tour in a country that size. Since then, he's become a regular on Joe Rogan's Comedy Mothership podcast, Kill Tony, and played Kill Tony Live at Madison Square Garden in both 2024 and 2025. If you follow that scene, you've probably seen him pop up there.
