Canadian singer-songwriter Bruce Cockburn plays two nights at The Parkway Theater in south Minneapolis.
Bruce Cockburn is playing two nights at The Parkway Theater in south Minneapolis: Sunday, April 18, and Monday, April 19, 2027. He's a Canadian singer-songwriter and activist with a career spanning more than 50 years, and his work has moved through folk, jazz, rock, and worldbeat—sounds shaped in part by his travels to Guatemala, Mali, Mozambique, and Nepal.
Cockburn has earned 12 Juno Awards, an induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, and a Governor General's Performing Arts Award, and he's an Officer of the Order of Canada. His songs have long been driven by politics and spirituality, and he's worked on issues from native rights and land mines to the environment and Third World debt with Oxfam, Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders, and Friends of the Earth.
In October 2026, he released The Blood of Others, a collection of songs written by others that traces the gospel, blues, and folk roots of his earliest years. He returns to The Parkway as one of Canada's finest artists, playing two nights only in south Minneapolis.
