Immersive gothic comedy reimagining of A Christmas Carol with four holiday cocktails served as a tasting menu, for guests 21 and over.
A Christmas Carol Cocktail Experience comes to The Gale Mansion on Saturday, November 28, from 8 PM to 9:30 PM. It's a dark, immersive reimagining of Charles Dickens' ghost story, billed as an immersive gothic comedy that brings Scrooge, Marley, and the three spirits of Christmas to life before the audience in Victorian London. The show runs about 90 minutes, and the cocktail part isn't just in the name: each scene is paired with one of four holiday-themed cocktails, served as a tasting menu throughout the evening. If you're not drinking, mocktails are available on request.
The production is by Midnight Creative, the team behind the highly reviewed Serial Killer Speakeasy and the internationally touring Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy. This is a traveling show stopping in Minneapolis, so it's one of the few times it'll be in town. The Gale Mansion is ADA compliant, and the evening is strictly for guests 21 and over with valid ID, so bring yours.
