Concert by the Italian guitar quartet 40 Fingers, a fingerstyle ensemble that reimagines rock, pop, classical and film themes.
40 Fingers play The Parkway Theater on Sunday, March 7, 2027. They're an Italian guitar quartet formed in Trieste in 2017, made up of Matteo Brenci, Emanuele Grafitti, Enrico Maria Milanesi, and Andrea Vittori. The four come from very different backgrounds, and they play fingerstyle, so you'll see eight hands working across four guitars at once. That's how they've built their name as a crossover ensemble on the international scene.
Their repertoire pulls from a wide range of styles—rock, pop, and Latin, alongside classical, jazz, and film scores. They reimagine songs by Queen, Astor Piazzolla, The Beatles, The Eagles, Toto, Dire Straits, and Eric Clapton, and they bring in themes from Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Last of the Mohicans, Game of Thrones, and Disney. They first broke out with a viral video of their arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody, which got official recognition from Queen. Since then, they've collaborated with Andrea Bocelli, Matteo Bocelli, Tory Kelly, and Andy Summers of The Police, and their shows lean on virtuoso guitar playing and stage production. Across social media, their videos have gathered more than 400 million views.
