A ghost-themed party with Resident Evil DJs, disco sessions and ghoulish party games hosted by Born to Be Wild Child, part of the MCR Monsters 10th-anniversary celebration.
The Rave-Yard takes over St Ann's Square on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October, from 10am to 6pm both days. It's a ghost-themed party that runs across the whole weekend, with resident evil DJs including DJ Ghostman on the decks, disco play sessions, and ghoulish party games hosted by Born to Be Wild Child. If you get stuck into the games, there's a mini prize to add to your party bag.
The Rave-Yard is one part of a larger weekend: it sits within the free Halloween in the City Weekender and the MCR Monsters 10th-anniversary celebration, organised by Manchester City Centre BID and sponsored by Swizzels. The Monsters themselves have been a Manchester Halloween fixture for a decade now, created by artists Filthy Luker and Pedro Estrellas and brought to life by Designs in Air. This year they're taking over the city centre with their biggest celebration yet, a free weekend of family-friendly fun, street entertainment, and larger-than-life monsters. There's also The Monster Library, a live storytelling performance by Z-Arts that tells the story of where the creatures came from.
