A weekend celebration of young adult fiction featuring author meet-and-greets, live panels, workshops and book signings.
The Young Adult Literature Convention (YALC) 2026 takes over the Hilton London Metropole on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, running from 9 am to 6 pm both days. It's a full weekend dedicated to young adult fiction, bringing fans and creators together under one roof for two days of panels, workshops and signings.
The programme covers a fair bit of ground across the YA landscape. You'll find fantasy, romance, dystopian adventures and contemporary favourites all in the same space, so it works whether you're into world-building and magic or grounded, character-led stories. The main draw is the chance to meet bestselling authors in person, and the signings are a big part of the weekend, alongside the live panels and workshops that run throughout.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in London and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
