Live show by singer-songwriter Will Whisson with support at the Lewisham pub Fox & Firkin, an 18+ event.
Will Whisson plays the Fox & Firkin in Lewisham on Sunday 25 October, with support. It's an afternoon slot, running from 3pm to 7pm, so it's more of a Sunday session than a late-night one.
Whisson is a British singer-songwriter whose sound sits somewhere between folk, rock and indie-pop, with emotive storytelling at the centre. He first stepped out as a solo artist in 2016, and not long after, he quit his job and moved out of London to live and busk across Europe in a camper van. That nomadic stretch took him through ten countries and more than 200 gigs, and it left him with two EPs and a debut album, Out of the Woods (2019), which he recorded in Ireland with producer Martin Quinn.
In 2022 he released his second album, Different Sides, produced by Pete Miles. Tracks like 'These Days Are Dead' picked up critical acclaim and support from Frank Turner. Since then, he's formed a new trio and has been working on a third album in a self-built studio in South London. 2026 is bringing new music and nationwide touring, and this Lewisham show is part of that run.
