The brothers behind the UK's number one education podcast bring their show to Soho Theatre Walthamstow, with reminiscences about school days and tales from teachers, plus audience participation.
Two Mr P's bring their podcast live to Soho Theatre Walthamstow on Monday 26 October, starting at 7:30pm. The show is called Two MR P's In a Podcast Live - Let That Be a Lesson..., and it takes their award-winning podcast back on the road.
If you've never come across them, the 'Two Mr P's' are brothers. The elder, Mr P, has been a primary school teacher for more than 17 years and still works part-time in schools, where he leads teacher training across the UK and internationally. He's also become one of the most followed teachers on social media. In 2018, he launched Two Mr P's in a Podcast alongside his younger brother Adam, who also works in a school. Since then, it's grown into the UK's number one education podcast, with millions of listens and three Sunday Times best-selling books to its name.
The live show follows the same thread as the podcast: the brothers reminiscing about their own school days and exploring the often hilarious side of education. They draw on their own classroom experiences and the most cringeworthy tales from educators across the country, and audience participation is encouraged throughout. It's the podcast format brought to a stage, with the two of them talking through the absurdities of the profession.
