Immersive storytelling exhibition by DEM Museums that takes visitors on a multisensory journey through 12,000 years of human history.
Timewalk is running at Immerse LDN from 23 July to 30 November 2026. It's an immersive storytelling experience by DEM Museums, who are known for the 'experience museum' model, and it takes you through 12,000 years of human history. The whole thing is built around five chapters: Göbekli Tepe, one of the world's earliest known civilisations; Babylon; Ancient Egypt; the Maya; and Rapa Nui. Each one is wrapped in 360° projection, spatial sound and cinematic storytelling, with an original orchestral score and narration by David Schofield and Olivia Williams.
You enter through a 'Time-Travel' Tunnel and move through five fully immersive spaces where image, sound and architecture merge. More than 250 award-winning immersive artists, designers and composers worked on the production, which has picked up 16 international awards. It's available in 25 languages, and there's a dedicated children's audio guide, so it works for a family day out as much as a solo wander. The experience is housed at Immerse LDN, London's newest and the UK's largest immersive entertainment district, at the ExCeL London Waterfront, Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL.
