The Performance Platform is holding its London preliminaries at the Lilian Baylis Studio on Sunday 1 November, a day of three separate performances at 10 am, 11:30 am and 2 pm. Each one runs for an hour and a half without an interval, so you can pick the slot that fits your Sunday best.
It's a vocational ballet competition for aspiring dancers, and this is the London preliminary round. The dancers perform here first, and the ones who make the cut go on to the grand finals at the Britten Theatre in February. The finalists are notified by 15 November, so the result of this day determines who gets to take that next step.
