The Darkness play The O2 Arena for the first time, headlining their UK arena tour with support from The Brothers Osborne and A.
The Darkness play The O2 on Wednesday 16 December, their first headline show at the arena. They're touring their largest headline run in 20 years, a celebration of a chart-topping, award-winning, platinum-selling catalogue that spans all eight of their studio albums. It starts with their 2003 debut Permission To Land and goes through to Dreams On Toast, which hit No. 2 on the UK Official Albums Chart and became their most successful record since that debut — it was recently named the most successful British rock album of the 21st century. Frontman Justin Hawkins describes the show as 'the very bestest of The Darkness', played live across their greatest hits.
Supporting them are Brothers Osborne and A, so there are two openers to get through before the main set. The London date is part of a UK arena tour taking in seven arenas across December, and it's the first time they've headlined The O2.
