Live concert by French Afrolov' artist Tayc at OVO Arena Wembley.
Tayc plays OVO Arena Wembley on Sunday 15 November, with the show running from 7:30pm to 11:00pm. It's a headline date for the Marseille-born artist, who's built his name around a sound he calls Afrolov' — a blend of afro, R&B, soul, jazz and gospel, with songs that lean on love, emotion and cinematic imagination.
He's been at this for a while now. The early mixtape Alchemy set the ground, and since then he's put out Nyxia, Fleur Froide and Room 96, each one adding to that same Afrolov' thread. He's also worked with a fair few names along the way, including Dadju, Tiwa Savage, Leto, Fally Ipupa and Christine & The Queens, so the set should draw from a good range of material.
There's more to him than just the music, too. He's stepped into television and film, winning Danse Avec Les Stars and appearing in Netflix's Christmas Flow. He's known for a smooth voice, heartfelt writing and refined live performances, and this is another one of those nights where he'll be taking the Afrolov' sound out to a live audience.
