Cinematic dining experience where a multi-course menu of spooky dishes arrives at the table in sync with a screening of 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'.
Taste Film are bringing The Nightmare Before Christmas to Parlour in Kensal Rise on Tuesday 2 November, and it's not your usual cinema trip. The whole thing is built around the idea of the film coming to your table course by course, with the food arriving in sync with what's happening on screen. The multi-course menu draws on the world of the film, so you'll get poisonous potions, festive feasts and spooky sweets appearing just as they do in the story.
It's pitched as an immersive way to experience the cult classic, whether you've loved it for years and still listen to the soundtrack every Halloween or you're discovering the magic for the first time. The film itself is the 1993 stop-motion feature, so you'll be watching the whole thing while you eat. The venue is Parlour, over in Kensal Rise (NW10 5LG), and the screening is rated PG, with a minimum age of five.

Taste Film does this for a lot of different movies, and they also build bespoke immersive experiences for brands and studios, with Le Creuset and Babybel among their past clients. This one is all about The Nightmare Before Christmas, so the menu is tailored to the film's particular mix of Halloween and Christmas. Tickets start from £99.95, and the venue isn't wheelchair accessible, so keep that in mind if you're planning a group.
