Cinematic dining experience in which a multi-course menu is served in synchronisation with scenes from the 1987 cult film 'The Lost Boys'.
Taste Film is bringing The Lost Boys to The Moniker on Friday 23 October, as part of a run of ten sessions that opened on 16 October and run through to 1 November. It's not just a screening of the 1987 cult classic; they've reframed it as a cinematic dining experience, where the film's most famous scenes are brought to the table course by course, with a multi-course menu served in precise synchronisation with the action on screen.
The menu takes its cues from the movie's specific world: the sun-soaked boardwalks of Santa Carla, the Frog brothers' comic-book-fuelled vampire lore and the film's rebellious spirit. You'll find boardwalk corndogs, plenty of garlic and a remarkably sweet finale. The whole thing is timed to match the film, so you're eating along with the story rather than just having a meal before or after.
