Immersive cinematic dining experience screening Hocus Pocus with a bespoke menu inspired by the film, at The Refinery Citypoint.
Taste Film are bringing Hocus Pocus to The Refinery Citypoint on Friday 23 October, the start of a run that goes until Sunday 1 November. If you've seen the film before, this isn't just a screening. Taste Film does immersive cinematic dining, where every course arrives in sync with what's happening on screen — they call it 'Taste the cinema'.
The menu is bespoke to the movie, with dishes and drinks inspired by the plot and the setting. The whole evening is pitched at 90s nostalgia, witchy potions and theatrical twists, aimed at witches, ghouls and anyone who still thinks Halloween is the best night of the year. So, as the Sanderson sisters get up to their usual mischief on screen, you'll be eating and drinking along with them.
The venue is The Refinery Citypoint at 1 Ropemaker Street, EC2Y 9HT, a bar and restaurant in the heart of the city known for stylish interiors and contemporary decor with industrial touches. It's a popular spot for social gatherings, corporate events and casual dining, so it's easy enough to get to and plenty of room to settle in for the night. The screening is rated PG, with a minimum age of 5, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
