Squeeze play The O2 on their 'Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour', with very special guest Billy Bragg.
Squeeze play The O2 on Thursday 26 November, with Billy Bragg supporting. It's a London date on their Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour, which they've billed as the most ambitious of their 53-year career. The two Ivor Novello award winners share the bill, and the London show sits just three miles from where the band first formed.
The tour follows their new studio album, Trixies, released on 6 March 2026. It's their first album in eight years, and the first they ever wrote: a collection of stories set in a fictional night club, penned by a teenage Chris Difford (19) and Glenn Tilbrook (16) at the start of their songwriting partnership in 1974. The songs were rediscovered on an original cassette and reimagined with bassist Owen Biddle producing.
Difford and Tilbrook founded Squeeze in 1973 and went on to write pop classics like 'Up The Junction', 'Tempted', 'Cool For Cats', 'Another Nail In My Heart' and 'Labelled With Love'. Their work has influenced acts from Lily Allen to The Killers. Since reuniting in 2007, the band has played more than 600 shows, and this London date brings them back close to where it all started.
