soulcity is back at The Jazz Cafe on Saturday 31 October, part of their regular Saturday night residency. It's not a one-off; the night runs every Saturday, so if you miss this one, there's another the following weekend. The music is house, and the DJs stick to club favourites and dancefloor bangers rather than digging into the obscure. It's the kind of night that's easy to start late and stay out long after you'd planned.

Doors open at 10:30pm, and the night runs through until 3am. It's strictly over-18s, so keep that in mind if you're bringing a group. If you're not keen on the main dancefloor, there's another option: you can book out your own area on the mezzanine overlooking the room, with personal drinks service so you don't have to queue at the bar.
