Contact Singles are hosting a singles social afternoon at Drake & Morgan at King's Cross on Saturday 24 October, from 2pm to 5pm. It's a mixer for singles in their later 30s, 40s, and 50s plus, drawing people from London and the surrounding counties. The club has been running since 1994 and has built up a large member database over the years, so this isn't a first-time attempt at a social.

On the day, there's a reserved ground-level bar area just for the group, and friendly hosts are on hand to welcome guests and make introductions. The idea is a sociable, relaxed gathering rather than anything high-pressure.
