Silver Theatre gift voucher for two tickets to see Matilda The Musical, the award-winning musical based on Roald Dahl's book, at the Cambridge Theatre.
Matilda The Musical is playing at the Cambridge Theatre in Covent Garden, in the heart of London's West End. It's Roald Dahl's children's book brought to the stage, adapted by the Royal Shakespeare Company with a book by Dennis Kelly and original songs and lyrics by the comedian Tim Minchin. The story follows Matilda, an exceptionally clever girl who gets very little attention from her parents and finds herself at odds with the fearsome headmistress Miss Trunchbull, until she outwits the grown-ups with the help of her teacher Miss Honey.
It's a production that's gathered a fair bit of recognition along the way, with more than 85 international awards to its name, 16 of those for best musical. The show runs for two hours and 35 minutes, which includes an interval, so you've got a full evening's entertainment there. It's recommended for children aged six and above, and there are a couple of practical things to keep in mind if you're bringing the family: children under three aren't admitted, and anyone under sixteen has to sit next to a ticketholder aged eighteen or over.
