Free exhibition of work by recent graduates across art, design and performance that looks at the research, iterations and collaborations behind the creative process.
Process is on at the Lethaby Gallery in King's Cross, running from Wednesday 16 September to Sunday 25 October 2026. It's an exhibition that looks at the messy, iterative and collaborative parts of the creative journey, and it's free to visit.
The show brings together work by recent graduates across art, design and performance. Rather than focusing on the finished pieces, it looks at the spontaneous and often unexpected ways of arriving at them. The emphasis is on experimentation and on the research, iterations and collaborations that define the creative process, so you'll see the working-out as much as the result.
That's the whole point of the exhibition: it's about the parts of making that usually stay in the studio. Instead of just the polished final outcome, the show gives space to the trial and error, the changes of direction and the collaborative effort that goes into a piece of work. It's a look at the creative process itself, rather than just the things it produces.
