Indie-folk singer-songwriter Paris Paloma plays the O2 Academy Brixton on her 'The Fatal Flaw' tour, donating a portion of ticket sales to Plan International UK.
Paris Paloma plays O2 Academy Brixton on Tuesday 17 November, her biggest headline tour to date. She's touring her second album, The Fatal Flaw, which came out on 4 September, and the set will draw from that alongside her earlier material.
Paloma is a Derbyshire indie-folk singer-songwriter whose dark, stormy alt-folk weaves together vengeance, heartbreak and fury at relationship inequalities. She started writing her own material at 14, citing Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca as a direct influence, and studied fine art before the 2020 pandemic pushed her to write and record. Her 2021 EP cemeteries and socials was managed by David Fernandez of High Plateau Productions, and the 2022 single 'The Fruits' caught the attention of Nettwerk Records. That led to the 2023 breakthrough 'Labour', a viral hit that put her in Billboard and NME alongside names like Florence + The Machine and Hozier.
Since then, she's played Bonnaroo, Montreux Jazz and TRNSMT, and released her debut album Cacophony in August 2024. Earlier this year, she put out the single 'Stem The Flow', which premiered as BBC Radio 1's Hottest Record, before announcing The Fatal Flaw and this run of headline dates. The tour has a charitable side too: she's pledging £1 from every ticket sold to girls' rights charity Plan International UK.
