Free Halloween rave with Moshi, Monster High cosplay, music from happy hardcore to jungle and stalls at Brixton Jamm.
Moshi Rave takes over Brixton Jamm on Thursday 29 October, teaming up with Monster High for a Halloween special that leans into the playful and the hard. It's a night that doesn't ask you to pick a side: cosplay is encouraged, and there are prizes for the best dressed, so if you've got a costume you've been waiting for an excuse to wear, this is it.
The music runs across a wide spread of high-energy electronic styles. You'll hear happy hardcore and gabba alongside hardstyle, breakcore, donk, techno, DnB, bassline and jungle. It's a lot of ground to cover in one night, and the line-up is built to handle it: Pissegobelin, Alterum, Jaymie, DJ LS and Hello Nitty are the names on the bill, each taking a turn across the booth.
It's not just about the dancefloor, either. There are stalls from Cursed Kandico, Kremiit and Ghoulsdotcom running throughout the night, so you can browse while you're not dancing. Between the costumes, the wide-ranging set and the stalls, it's more of a full evening than a standard club night.
