Weekly Friday late-night live music session from 9pm to 11pm at Mr Fogg's Tavern in Covent Garden.
Late Night Live Music Fridays run every Friday from 9pm to 11pm at Mr Fogg's Tavern in Covent Garden. It's a late-night live music slot that kicks in after the main evening rush, so it works as a proper nightcap rather than a standalone gig. If you're already in the West End, it's an easy one to drop into.
The Tavern sits on the corner of New Row and St. Martin's Lane, right in the heart of theatre-land. It's part of Mr Fogg's, a Victorian-inspired collection of cocktail bars and taverns spread across London, with other spots in Mayfair, Fitzrovia, Soho and the City. The Tavern itself is themed as having been left by Mr Fogg's late Aunt Gertrude to her housekeeper Fanny McGee, and it's decorated with an eccentric array of memorabilia collected by Mr Fogg himself.
There's more to the site than just the pub, too. Above the Tavern is Mr Fogg's Gin Parlour, an intimate cocktail bar that stocks more than 200 gins from across the globe. If you're in the mood for something a bit more focused on the drinks than the music, that's your spot. The group runs a few other weekly fixtures as well: a Cockney Singalong on Thursdays and Mr Fogg's Roast every Sunday, so there's usually something on most nights of the week.
