London's iconic winter festival with ice skating, rollercoasters, a Christmas market, live shows and the Giant Wheel in Hyde Park.
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland returns to Hyde Park on 19 November 2026, running for six weeks through to 3 January 2027. It's open daily except Christmas Day, from 10am to 10pm, with entry by pre-booked one-hour time slots. The site is in London W2 2UH.
There's a fair amount of new stuff this year. The Magical Ice Kingdom is themed around Peter Pan, with over 500 tonnes of ice and snow carved into hundreds of sculptures, and there's a new Gandeys K-Pop Dragon Circus. The Christmas market adds a Scandi-themed square with music and a picture-frame-making workshop, alongside themed spaces like Bar Narnia, Carousel Bar and Thor's Tipi Bar.
The familiar sights are still there. The Giant Wheel is the world's largest transportable observation wheel at 70m, and Munich Looping, made famous at Oktoberfest, is the world's largest transportable rollercoaster. The Euro Coaster is one of the event's longest-running rides, twisting along a 370m track. The ice rink is built around the park's Victorian bandstand, and Bar Ice is sculpted entirely from ice and kept at -10°C. There's also a Christmas by Candlelight concert with four West End performers.
