18+ Halloween party at the Trapeze Bar in Shoreditch with a haunted house, horror decor and late-night house music.
What's The Motive are taking over the Trapeze Bar on Friday 23 October for Halloween Fright Night, which they're billing as Shoreditch's ultimate Halloween party and the biggest and scariest one of the century. The whole night is built around a single theme: they're turning the bar into 'Satan's playground', a haunted house filled with dead skeletons, flying ghosts, witches, vampires and weird aliens. It's immersive horror-themed decor throughout, and the music is late-night house, so it's a dance floor night rather than a seated one.
If you're into the theme, Halloween wear is encouraged, so it's a good excuse to actually put a costume together. The house rules are strict on dress, though: no hoodies, tracksuits, hats or sportswear, and no sandals for ladies. It's strictly 18+ with photo ID required at the door, and doors close at 1 am, so if you're arriving late, you'll want to be there well before that. Tickets are £17.03.

If you're heading there with a group, they've got birthday packages that range from a Standard £100 up to an All-Inclusive £650. The night runs from 10 pm to 4 am, so it's a proper late one. The Trapeze Bar is at 89 Great Eastern Street, London EC2A 3HX.
