Halloween party with Reggae, Bashment, Soca and Afrobeats music and Halloween wear at Trapeze Bar in Shoreditch.
Haunted Shoreditch takes over Trapeze Bar on Friday 30 October, a Halloween party put on by What's The Motive UK. They're billing it as the 'TOTAL Halloween experience in Shoreditch' and 'the BIGGEST & SCARIEST party of the century', turning the bar into what they call 'Satan's playground', filled with dead skeletons, flying ghosts, witches, vampires and weird aliens. Halloween wear is encouraged, so it's the kind of night where coming dressed up is half the point.
On the music, the night runs through Reggae, Bashment, Soca and Afrobeats, played by the organisers' favourite DJs. It's a broad spread of sounds, and the mix of styles means it's more of a dancefloor night than a themed clubber. Trapeze itself is a live music venue in Shoreditch with two spaces, the bar and the club, both with a regular programme of events; the bar is one of the area's most iconic party spots, known for its circus-inspired interiors. The nearest tube is Old Street.
