Adults-only after-hours Halloween night at the Natural History Museum with a live band, silent disco and ghostly activities among the museum's specimens.
Halloween at the Museum returns to the Natural History Museum on Saturday 31 October, an adults-only night that takes over the building after it's closed to the general public. The previous edition sold out, so it's worth getting your tickets in early if you're planning on it.
You enter through the Central Entrance on Cromwell Road and are welcomed as 'Very Important Vampires' by the Vampiric Council to the wedding of the Vampiric Leader. From there, the night splits its time between after-hours access to selected galleries and a live band playing through the museum's halls. There's a silent disco in the Earth Hall, where vampiric musicians perform haunting ballads between tales of their lives and legends, and you can chat with the museum's own scientists while you're at it.
If you want a bit more, premium tickets add a private VIV area and a VIV bar with a free drink. Entry is for over-18s only under Challenge 25, so bring ID. Bookings are required and tickets are non-refundable.
