Halloween tasting session at the chocolate cocktail bar with a limited-edition spooky menu and an 80s and house music party.
The Chocolate Cocktail Club is doing a Halloween takeover in Farringdon this October, and it's more of a season than a single night. The whole thing runs from Friday 23 October through to Saturday 31 October, with the venue leaning hard into the spooky theme for the full ten days. If you've never come across them, they're the UK's first and only chocolate cocktail bar, and they do exactly what the name says: chocolatey twists on classic cocktails, served alongside light bites, desserts and edible chocolate shots. They built their following on sold-out pop-ups in Covent Garden, Brighton and Shoreditch before settling into their permanent spot in Farringdon.
For this Halloween edition, they've put together a limited-edition menu that swaps the usual for something a bit more themed. There's the Kinder Freakshake, Smoore's Martini, Snickers After Dark, Draculas Raspberry Ripple and Pumpkin shots, plus Creme-boo-lee and pumpkin spice surprises. It's a tasting experience rather than a cocktail-making class, so you're there to drink, not to shake things yourself. The sessions are rounded out with an 80s and house music party mash-up, so it's as much about the music as the menu.

Because it's a run of sessions rather than one single party, you've got plenty of dates to choose from across the ten days. The one on Saturday 31 October runs from 3:00 to 4:30 PM, and tickets are £11.50 per person, with that amount going towards your first cocktail. You'll find them at The Chocolate Cocktail Club, 72 Saint John Street, Farringdon, London EC1M 4DT.
