Stand-up show in which Galder Varas improvises with the audience and tells his stories, entirely in Spanish, at The Bill Murray.
Galder Varas brings his comedy show to The Bill Murray on Sunday 8 November, performed entirely in Spanish. It's presented by Angel Comedy, and the set is built around two things: Varas telling his stories and improvising with the audience. If you're a Spanish speaker in London, it's one of those rare nights where the comedy is in your own language rather than translated.
Because the show is in Spanish, it's naturally aimed at the city's Spanish-speaking community. Varas works the room, mixing his prepared material with the kind of off-the-cuff banter that comes from playing to the crowd, so the night changes depending on who's in the room. It's a solo show, with Varas as the only name on the bill.
The venue is The Bill Murray, 39 Queen's Head St, London N1 8NQ, in the heart of Islington. It's an over-18s night, and seating is unreserved, so you'll want to arrive a bit early if you've got a preference for where you sit. Doors open at 5:00pm, and the show runs from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, making it an early evening one that finishes well before the night has really got going.
